EZ2CY Boat enclosure cleaning products

We recommend using EZ2CY Clear Plastic Restorer & Polish to clean and polish their enclosures. This product is specially formulated to clean and restore the clarity of EZ2CY enclosures, and it is safe to use on impact-modified acrylic surfaces.

Also an ideal boat cleaner for conventional clear vinyl enclosures, isinglass, lucite, Lexan, plexiglass, acrylic, chrome, and painted surfaces.

Plastic enclosure tracks, eyeglasses, instrument covers, hatches, etc. The cleaner may be used whenever you need to spruce up the clarity of your windows.

Use EZ2CY Clear Plastic Restorer & Polish.

Follow these steps:

  1. Rinse the enclosure with water to remove any loose dirt or debris.

  2. Apply a small amount of the polish to a soft, clean cloth.

  3. Rub the polish onto the enclosure in a circular motion, working in small sections simultaneously.

  4. Continue to polish the enclosure until the entire surface has been treated.

  5. Use a clean, dry cloth to buff the surface until it is clear and shiny.

It is important to note that you should not use any harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive materials on your EZ2CY enclosure, as these can damage the surface.

Keep your enclosure looking factory-new.

EZ2CY Plastic Cleaner & Polish is the same formula we've trusted on our own acrylic enclosures since 1992. One bottle cleans, polishes, and protects in a single pass, leaving behind a lustrous finish that actually makes the next cleaning easier.

Spray it on, wipe it off. That's it.

What it does

  • Anti-static finish repels dust, pollen, and salt spray instead of attracting them
  • Anti-fog protection keeps visibility clear in humid conditions and temperature swings
  • Water-shed properties cause rain and spray to bead and run off cleanly
  • Protective layer guards against UV haze, salt corrosion, and environmental buildup
  • Residue-free finish that won't streak, cloud, or leave a chalky film

Safe on every clear surface on your boat

Originally formulated for EZ2CY rigid acrylic enclosures, this cleaner works on nearly every clear material you'll find on the water:

  • Rigid acrylic enclosures (EZ2CY, Costa Clear, and similar)
  • Soft isinglass and eisenglass windows
  • Conventional clear vinyl enclosures
  • Plastic enclosure track and zippers
  • Instrument covers and electronics screens
  • Hatches, portlights, and windshields
  • Lucite, Lexan, Plexiglas, and Acrylite
  • Chrome trim and hardware
  • Eyeglasses and sunglasses

Why boaters keep coming back

Generic household cleaners like Windex, Rain-X, and ammonia-based sprays strip protective coatings and cause long-term clouding on acrylic and isinglass. EZ2CY Plastic Cleaner & Polish is pH-neutral and formulated specifically for marine plastics, so it cleans without damaging the surface you're trying to protect.

Captains running 10 and 11 year old EZ2CY enclosures consistently credit regular use of this cleaner for keeping their panels clear well past the average vinyl lifespan.

How to use

Rinse loose salt and grit off the surface with fresh water

Shake the bottle well

Spray a light mist directly onto the enclosure panel

Wipe in straight lines with a clean microfiber cloth

Flip the cloth and buff dry for a streak-free finish

Reapply every 30 to 60 days for best results, or any time the panel starts losing its slickness.

Pairs well with

  • EZ2CY Scratch Remover for minor hazing, light scuffs, and cloudy spots
  • EZ2CY Enclosure Cleaner for heavier salt buildup and deep cleaning between polishes
